Great location conveniently located near train station and bus terminal.

Stair configuration of floors. Although there was a lift you need to navigate several flights of stairs to get to your room carrying luggage.

Far from attraction and sound proofing could be better. We heard upstairs stomping on floor and boat from the great canal.

Fantastic stay made special by the team for our 30th wedding anniversary.

The location was perfect for easy access. The breakfast was also very good. The staff were very good but Lucretia at the front desk was exceptional with excellent hospitality. We were upgraded to one of the best room in the house with a prompt response to change the bed from twin to double. Lucrezia actually take the time to come to our room to speak to us, love that special touch.

Amazing location!

Large room with comfortable bed and good pillows. Large windows overlooking the streetscape. Good breakfast with a great view of the canal. Excellent staff and housekeeping. Picturesque walk to the main attractions which we spread over two days. Only a short walk to the train station.

There were a few steps to negotiate getting to our room from the Level 3 lift but we managed OK with luggage.

Excellent location. We found it extremely convenient.

Excellent location- mere steps to the train station and water buses to go to any part of Venice. Depending on the time of day, the water buses were very crowded (e.g. had to wait for the next water bus which meant an extra 20- 30 minutes) so staying near to the train station was less risky as we were travelling by train. Plenty of food choices around the hotel also.

We were told that there was no aircon facility (Venice regulations) so we needed to open the windows to keep the room cool and ventilated. As the hotel is next to the canal, with our room on level 2, some noise was inevitable. There was an elevator to upper floors but both the elevator waiting area {a few steps up) and the elevator were small.

Perfect spot to experience life on the canal.

Location was convenient to the train station and drop off point via taxi. Very walkable location. Loved being on the canal. Safe, vibrant location. Breakfast buffet was wonderful and the option to sit on outdoor space. Staff was very cordial and welcoming.

OK...but loud if near kitchen.

Location is close to train. Staff very helpful.

Noise...room 162 is very loud. Over the kitchen and maintenance area. Noise until late into evening from Kitchen and employees taking breaks in alley. Very loud and constant door banging in early morning. Other rooms might be better.

An interesting stay in a great location

The location is excellent. The room was comfortable. The staff were friendly. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices. The bar/restaurant downstairs is very convenient.

From the lift to my room on the 2nd floor there were 28 steps. They went up, down and in one case, sideways. When I checked in, the receptionist asked if I wanted help with my bags. I assumed that no, there was a lift, how hard could it be? When you don’t have great knees and one of your bags is a bit heavy, it would be good to know this at check-in. I probably would have asked for a less out of the way room. Also, a fire alarm went off around 6am. It was only in the part of the hotel where I was staying (friends on the 4th floor never heard a thing). It turned out to be a false alarm, but it’s not the way you want to start your day.
